Women’s Institute Board Representative Attends Commemoration of the Late Azam Taleghani
On the anniversary of the passing of the late Azam Taleghani, founder of the Women’s Institute, a ceremony was held on 1 November 2025 with the participation of members, researchers, and social activists.
During the event, the representative of the Women’s Institute’s Board of Directors honoured Ms. Taleghani’s memory and legacy, and presented the Institute’s new goals and outlook in the fields of socio-environmental development, social engagement in water management, and the strengthening of civic participation in this area.
In her remarks, she expressed appreciation for the long-standing members and pioneers of the Institute, emphasizing their decisive role in continuing the path of the Women’s Institute. She noted that their experience and support remain a valuable foundation for younger generations.
At the end of her remarks, the Board representative invited all participants to contribute to the development of the Institute’s activities and the achievement of its social goals through participation, collaboration, and practical suggestions.
