Women’s Personal and Social Empowerment Program
The Women’s Personal and Social Knowledge Development Program was implemented in Districts 15 and 20 of Tehran in cooperation with the Women’s Institute, the Najm Women’s Empowerment Cooperative, and the Deputy for Social and Cultural Affairs of Tehran Municipality.
The project was carried out as an educational program through a series of workshops. It was implemented in three phases. The first phase focused on collecting information. In the second phase, the necessary facilities and resources for implementation were provided. The third phase was dedicated to carrying out the operational activities of the program.
The main output of the project was the provision of essential legal, economic, and social information and awareness to women, particularly in relation to family matters. Through workshop-based training, the project aimed to improve women’s knowledge, strengthen their capacities, and contribute to the development of a healthier society free from violence.
