Preservation of Bustards through Community Participation
Within the framework of this initiative, two local organizations were independently established for men and women to enable the active participation of both groups in local development processes. To support economic activities, the necessary financial resources were provided through microcredit facilities. Empowering activities were also launched at the community level to promote sustainable livelihoods. Concurrently, numerous workshops and training sessions were held. The training was offered in three main categories: general training to raise social awareness, skills training to enhance professional capabilities, and specialized environmental training focused on the conservation of the endangered houbara bustard in the region.
Goal:
Conservation of the Houbara Bustard as an Endangered Bird Species
